Excellent price/performance. Nice lobby and excellent restaurant (we only tried the tapas).

We drowned our disappointment with an excellent bottle of local cava.
Bedroom required updating and sheets were unironed. Breakfast was very poor compared with similar hotels in L'Escala. Staff hygiene was not as one would expect, we saw them preparing sandwiches and the phrase ' finger licking good' came to mind!!!

The atmosphere was excellent We felt comfortable and at home the staff were accommodating and helpful, The location of the hotel was excellent not far to the Beach at L'Escala where there are Supermarkets and other shops, and within easy reach of Girona, Figueres and The National Park at Aiguamolls de L'Emporda where you can see a large colony of nesting Storks and other birds.
It would have been helpful if there had been a hospitality tray or Tea and Coffee making facility's as the staff went off at 9pm But the Staff got some tea bags in on our request.
